Other People's Stuff

I think this knitted blanket is absolutely gorgeous!
Sequoia by "guiguine" on Ravelry.

And this is sweet as pie.
Ripple Effect by "PinkLemons" on Ravelry.

This made me laugh.
On Amazon HERE.

Love, love, love these colors and this blanket.
Floral Enchantment by "KnitSister1" on Ravelry.

I'm not sure why, but I really like this chunky-yarn blanket.
I think it's the chunkiness.
Limerick by "DeborahOLeary" on Ravelry.

These colors are fabulous!
Orchid Lace Baby Blanket by "Thunderella05" on Ravelry.
Link to the pattern is HERE.

And because I'm ready for fall...

The pattern is HERE.

I sat at my computer (which I rarely do anymore since I quit working) and looked through Ravelry and Flickr hoping I'd catch some crochet inspiration from somewhere.

It didn't work.
I'm a crochet loser.

  2. Linda ~ The pattern is called Orchid Lace Afghan by Courtney Carter. Link is here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/orchid-lace-afghan

Link to the one I posted by Thunderella05 is here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Thunderella05/orchid-lace-afghan-2

I've never been able to copy a link from a comment section. Hope you are able to find it. Just go to Ravelry and search for the Orchid Lace Afghan and it should come up. You could also look for it by Designer name of Courtney Carter. Hope this helps. :)

  3. I love all of these projects. The leaves are great and I'm sick and tired of this hot weather we're having...but I'm not ready for fall because that means winter and that means snow! Do you see where I'm going? My back is still broken from last years snow!

We were up in your neck of the woods on Saturday visiting friends on their property on the Kettle River about 8-10 miles north of Kettle Falls. I SO wanted to see you but we were with another couple. Someday my sweet Pammy Sue. Someday we WILL get together.

    Blessings always,
    Betsy

  5. Liking that Sequoia by "guiguine". What a great way to use up all my bits and pieces of variegated & hand painted yarns.
Loving the Maple leaves. I can't wait for Fall & Winter. This heat is the pits!

  6. I love every one you posted! The colors are all gorgeous! Looking at these I could even get my crochet mojo back, maybe. I sit here at night and look at my project and think I should work on it but I don't! Too much yardwork taking up my time. Just go with the flow I guess. We can just look and enjoy for now....sigh.

  7. Many thanks, Pammy-Sue! Great projects. My favorites are pics 1, 6 and 7. I really have to make some of those leaves! I think I had that pattern saved some time ago but totally forgotten about it, super that you brought it back into my mind :-). Sunny greetings, Nata

  8. You are most definitely NOT a crochet loser. Most definitely. Ravelry is FULL of beautiful stuff! I favorited that little elephant ripple blanket, too. So stinking cute. Just not in the baby blanket making market right now. I'm stuck on a knitted sweater. About to start #3 ( a first for me!). Hope you're enjoying our tail of summer! blessings ~ tanna
